Started a new Playtime series. I'll be playing through an old adventure game called "The Neverhood Chronicles"
I remember having such a hard time with this game when I was younger. The puzzles in it have the usual adventure game problem of having solutions that only follow the train of logic of the person DESIGNING them, but when you add on top of that the fact that the game takes place in a surreal dreamland type setting, you have to think SO outside the box to figure things out that nothing matches the rewarding sense of accomplishment you feel when you solve it except the stroke causing FRUSTRATION you had to go through!
With that in mind, I've introduced a new video element that I've only used incidentally in previous Playtime series called Skip Bot. Skip Bot basically highlights all the times when I skip over boring parts of a Let's Play game in the interest of not boring the viewer. In the past I used to do this all sneaky like with subtle little cross dissolves, but in a game like "Neverhood", there's A LOT of boring parts (whether by design or just the result of my trying to figure something out.) So I made a gimmick out of it. I like it.
Also added the newest L4D2 Shananigans. This one includes us killing all the Drews. Great times. We even had guest artwork from a friend Doctor Holocaust help us out with some cool drawings. Check them out!
