I did a new AMV! I haven't done an AMV in a LONG time, but I heard this song shortly after playing through the Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm single player campaign and it just clicked!

Whitless and I did another letter video ALSO related to Starcraft 2. She doesn't play the game herself but after I showed it to her the idea for this letter came together pretty quickly.

, Doc and I have all spent the last month pretty much doing nothing but working on our VEDA (Vlog Every Day in April) challenges. It's been quite the learning experience for the lot of us having to crank out a vlog every day, but I have to say I'm pretty proud of how well they've been turning out. (At least for Doc and Mai anyway)

Going into next month, I'm hoping to kick my Playtime series back into gear again. It's been sitting idle for a while now but I'm hoping with the acquisition of some new equipment I can start producing a little bit more content for that.

As well, Anime North 2013 is coming up at the end of next month, and I'll be sure to be at that convention putting efforts into continuing my tradition of cosplayer video funtimes. Be prepared for more masquerade videos after that as well!

PAX East was a wild convention. There was SO much stuff going on that I don't even know where to begin on trying to put together a retrospective vlog together, so I have come up with a somewhat different approach.

This week I am taking it easy and working on a personal project as a way to sort of decompress after my trip down to the US. Next week, VEDA starts up again. Last year was pretty interesting, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this year will turn out!

Uploaded the rest of the Con-G videos. What a great convention that was.

I did another little just-for-fun editing project including some loud quotes from my favorite movies. I've been taking it easy on the projects after Con-G so that I don't get overwhelmed going into the end of March. I've got a trip down to Pax East next week that is going to be mostly vacationing for me, and then starting in April I am considering doing VEDA (Vlog Every Day in April) again, so I wanted to leave space on my plate for that.

Dr. Holocaust finally cut together a trailer using some of the footage I worked on earlier this year. That's pretty exciting! I can't wait for the final project!

Con-G was a blast this year, but by far the highlight was getting to sit down with geek icon Rob Paulsen (better known as the voice of Yakko Warner, Pinky, Raphael and so many others) for a small interview.

Besides that, there was the wonderful masquerade as well as the opportunity to speak to a lot of the other guests at the convention (many of whom I have the good fortune of being good friends with). There are more videos on the way!

Things are starting up again. Con-G is next week, and I'm ready to go on getting a big video project started once that wraps up. I'll probably be doing a full Masquerade video along with a general shenanigans video too. I'm hoping to get a lot of interviews with some of the guests this year!

Dr. Holocaust is also going to be presenting the big project he and I have been working on for the past few months at Con-G too, so I'm looking forward to all the hard work from that paying off!

Holidays are good and done with, so let's update!

New Whitless letter! This time it's not to a video game character!

Expanded the Ninja Reviews section to include some audio reviews I've been doing lately (mostly on movies)

Added a new Playtime series for a cute little puzzle game called Botanicula as well!

Finally, look for exciting new projects popping up in February. Con-G will be the first convention of the year and I will be all over that with video ninja shenanigans. Also, Dr. Holocaust and I have something in development that is nearing completion. That's also probably going to be released into the wild around the end of next month too!

Been a while since my last update. Sorry. Busy month.

New Whitless letter in the works. It's almost done. In the meantime, here's the last one we did.

Also, new L4D2 Shananigans video! Sometimes it's not such a bad thing to find a premise that works and just run with it.

Currently in the works is another BIG collaboration project with Doctor Holocaust. It feels good to be getting back to work with him after so long, and I must say he hasn't slowed down in terms of giving me big projects to sink my teeth into. Hopefully the end result is just as awesome as the last few times we've worked together.

I've also reworked one of my pages here into a new home for quick audio reviews of movies, games and music that I've started putting up on YouTube. The idea was to turn them into podcasts for distribution but I've got my hands full with other things at the moment, and it's really low on my priority list.

Oh and that NaNoWriMo thing? Didn't happen. Again.
"Maybe next year" ... again.

First of all, as you can see below, I achieved my goal for the Extra Life fundraiser of raising $1000 for SickKids Foundation! It was a fun weekend playing games with friends and raising money for charity doing it! Here's a series of videos recapping the experience!

Most notably from the event was my personal attempt at playing Slender, which has a Playtime video all of its own!

Speaking of Playtime, episode four of The Walking Dead was a fun playthrough! I got all the videos from that run up too! I can't wait for the final chapter next month!

With that said and done, currently I'm working on a brand new Playtime series for a new-ish game I've discovered. I haven't finished the game itself yet and I'm holding off uploading any of the videos I have gotten done until I have the game finished.

Besides that, Mai Sheri has recently returned from the New York ComicCon convention, and she has brought back with here a whole bunch of juicy footage for me to make another con video with! Apparently she's busy editing together a Nuit Blanche video from this year so she's having me take care of the NYCC! (FYI, I'm in her Nuit Blanche video from LAST year, which she's recently uploaded) I'm hoping to get some progress done on that this week before the weekend hits, as this weekend I'm also slated to help Whitless with her next letter! Busy busy!

Also next month is NaNoWriMo... no idea how I'm going to fair with giving THAT another try. >_>

Whitless and I have finished a new Whitless letter. After her poor encounter with the Slenderman in the last Playtime video we did together, it was only natural she retaliate in the way she knew best!

Two new L4D2 Shananigans videos too! The first is a traditional collection of madness, and the second was me mixing things up a bit by going it alone and giving the viewers a bit more then just my piercing screams to accompany them. The latter was instrumental in figuring out the whole face-cam during gaming thing, so expect to see that return in the future!

Currently I'm working on a new vlog for Mai Sheri. That will hopefully be up by the end of the week.

I've also signed up to participate in the annual charity fundraiser for Sick Kids Foundation by joining the Extra Life event! My latest ninja vlog explains the details.

Finished up a few videos from the summer for Mai Sheri.

Did some gaming with Whitless, including a tragically hilarious Playtime episode of Slender!

Beyond that, not much to report. Plans for another Whitless letter, some visual effects work from Doctor H and maybe a bit of vlog work from Mai Sheri here and there are up in the air right now, but that's about it!

That's fine. I don't mind the chill time. Let's me catch up on my games and movies and shows and life and stuff.
