My plate was kind of full this past weekend, but in a good sort of way. It's always nice to keep busy.
Doctor Holocaust's project is nearing completion, which has me very excited. (Well, at least the FX are nearing completion. We still have a lot of other work to do to get it ready to unleash upon the world.) He and I are probably going to be having an edit session tomorrow to flush out any final touches before we move on to the hardcore editing stage of things. It's going to be pretty boss when it's finished.
Mai Sheri Costumes and I did another vlog this week and I've just finished cutting that together and posting it online. I got a chance to try out some newer features with my new equipment with some surprisingly positive results:
- Shooting 24p is awesome. I love the look. I'm probably going to be shooting a lot more projects this way!
- The little lav mic I bought a while back has proven itself to be my go-to mic for interviews.
- The little light I bought for my camera does try its gosh-darn hardest, but I've got a lead on a replacement I think will blow it out of the water!
Also, Whitless has me scheduled for yet another "Letters To" video shoot tomorrow afternoon! Hopefully I can have that cut up and posted later this week.
And finally, there is probably going to be yet ANOTHER L4D2 Shananigans video going up in the near future. I've been playing with the boys again the last couple of nights and the footage I've collected is our usual slew of awesomeness. (Including one bit I had to surgically edit together more then any other clip I've included in the Shananigan videos in the past. Not going to spoil it but suffice to say... it will
